A Short Story
About Lauren
Born in 1984 in the depths of hell, I am more than a survivor. A prisoner of Vice, I gambled everything in a high-stakes poker game where my freedom hung in the balance. With unyielding determination, I emerged victorious, but my triumph enraged Vice. In retribution, he banished me to Earth, condemning me to witness the world's cruelty.
Behind this metaphor lies my true story...

I grew up in a dysfunctional family where I never truly felt I belonged. Books and writing became my sanctuary, my escape from a gray, mundane reality. While I couldn't always express myself openly, the pages of books offered me safety, and writing allowed me to put words to the wounds I carried...
Turning my thoughts into a novel has always been my dream, one that took years to bring to life.
Mythomania was my first major writing project, born from the shadows of dark family story filled with lies and destruction. Transforming trauma into a psychological thriller took time, patience, and self-reflection. I drew inspiration from my own observations of human nature, and my journey toward resilience.
For me, Mythomania is more than a story...
It's a mirror for those who seek to understand the roots of toxicity, for those who have endured its silent weight, and for the victims ans survivors who rise above it.
By nature, I am introspective and inspired by people who bring their vision into the real world. I am drawn to classics, thrillers, and works exploring the human psyche. Writing has allowed me to turn pain into a creative force, and I hope my stories resonate with those who seek meaning in chaos.
